The running-up/along walls thing is particularly cool, sort of taking what Sega did in the PS2 Shinobi and making it more interesting in the context of a platform game. Ninja is a pretty able little guy he's deadly with his sword, can swing and grapple with his hook, use his sword as a fall-slowing helicopter, grind rails, run up walls, run along walls, and the proverbial "more." In short, he makes for an extremely capable platforming hero. Five hub-based worlds offer over a dozen environments to explore, conquer, and generally cause mayhem in. Like so many of the great ninja games of the past, I-Ninja is a platformer. or achieve real ultimate power! With this in mind, he sets off on his quest to retrieve the sacred object, nagging ghost-sensei in tow. With it, Ninja can choose to right his grievous wrong. His sensei's ghost appears, and tells him of an object that grants its bearer a single wish. Unfortunately, when he snaps out of it he discovers that his little outburst ended up decapitating his sensei. One day the self-absorbed Ninja finds a relic granting him ultimate power, which sends him into paroxysms of flips, sword slashes, and general ninja showmanship. I-Ninja is actually a light-hearted caper starring a ninja named Ninja and a sensei named Sensei. A Game Boy Advance version of the game was announced, then later cancelled.
